Are Your Employees Thriving? 

Teaming up with friend and fellow IIN graduate Julie King, we offer a variety of support services which educate employees on how to improve their overall wellness, choose healthy and nutritious foods and take actions towards living a more balanced life. Our collaborative approach allows us to draw on our combined background and expertise in exercise physiology, corporate fitness, personal training, lifestyle coaching and nutrition to bring employees long term, practical solutions to the common low energy and health issues seen in today’s workplace.

Services:

Our services range from one-hour wellness workshops and brown bag lunches to workshop series, bi-weekly gatherings, group counseling and individual one-on-one sessions.


Current Services Include:

Group Workshops: These 50-60 minute workshops are designed to cover a variety of important self-care and wellness topics. The workshops can be implemented as a brown-bag lunch series or can be selected a la carte. Each workshop begins with a hot tea or fresh vegetable juice and ends with a giveaway and relevant handout. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

Group Health Counseling: Meeting twice monthly for 50 minutes, our group counseling program takes a step-by-step approach for participants to reach improved health and well-being over a 6 month period of time. Meetings will cover a broad range of topics including: grocery shopping, recipes and food preparation, dietary theories (blood type diet, macrobiotic diet, 100 mile diet, etc), curbing sugar cravings, exercise, yoga and meditation, achieving work-life balance and much more. Each session will include informative handouts to support the topic being covered and special giveaways (recipe books, hot water bottles and more). This program is cumulative, but participants may join at any time and will be able to access information and handouts from earlier topics

Individual Health Counseling:  This method of counseling is targeted towards individuals with specific health and dietary concerns and is ideal for the person looking for more individualized attention in an intimate setting. Meeting twice monthly for 50-minutes, we will work one-on-one with employees to reach their individual goals over a 6 month period of time. Topics will be similar to the Group Counseling offering, but more adaptable to individual feedback and direction. Sessions will include handouts, giveaways, recipes, discussion of progress, program notes as well as accountability and ongoing support between sessions

Clean Eating 10 Day Detox Program: This guided 10-day cleanse is a way to jump start dietary and lifestyle changes as well as clean out, refresh, and rejuvenate your body. We provide employees with all of the support that they need to tackle this cleanse, including a detailed overview of the program, daily morning check in calls and emails, hundreds of clean eating recipes, a shopping list and email support and encouragement.

Cooking Club:  Meeting twice monthly for 60 minutes, this forum is perfect for busy working professionals who are interested in cooking and constantly challenged with “what to make for dinner tonight.” The focus will be on healthy, nutritious, and seasonal menu planning and will include recipes, food sampling and guest appearances by local chefs. Participants will be able to share ideas and specific challenges for the group to evaluate, consider and discuss.
